Profile Links for CS2

Privacy policy

Effective 26 September 2026 · Version 1.1.0

This independent browser extension adds CS2 tracker shortcuts to Steam profile pages. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve, Steam, Counter-Strike, or the linked trackers.

Data used on your device

On a matching Steam page, the extension checks the page URL to determine whether it is a profile. Before enabling profile links, it shows a disclosure. Once you enable them, it reads the viewed player's profile URL and Steam account identifier (SteamID64, or an account ID used to derive it). It uses those identifiers only to create links for that player. It does not intentionally extract profile biographies, messages, friends lists, inventories, passwords, cookies or authentication tokens.

Local storage and retention

The extension stores your enablement choice and tracker preferences (visibility, order, favourites, custom button names and URL templates) in Chrome's local extension storage. It does not sync them to our servers or use Chrome Sync. A short-lived timestamp in extension session storage limits repeated tab-opening requests; it is cleared when the extension or browser is restarted. Player identifiers and browsing history are not persistently saved by the extension. Settings remain until you clear them or uninstall. Do not put secrets in custom URL templates; local preferences are not a secure vault.

When information leaves your device

There are no analytics, telemetry, ads, affiliate codes, developer-operated data endpoints or background requests to trackers. Website icons, where included, are packaged locally. When you click a tracker or Open favourites, your browser opens an HTTPS address containing the viewed player's SteamID64. The selected site receives that identifier and normal browser request information, such as your IP address and browser headers, and may receive its own existing cookies. A page you open may redirect or load resources under that site's own policies.

The built-in destinations are csstats.gg, csrep.gg, cs2tracker.gg, cstracker.gg, csst.at, leetify.com and faceitfinder.com. Custom buttons send the identifier to the website you choose. We do not control those sites, their content, data retention, analytics, or privacy practices. Opening a destination does not establish that the site has data for that player.

Your choices

You may leave profile links disabled, open only the destinations you choose, edit or remove custom buttons, or hide built-in ones. “Copy SteamID64” writes the identifier to your system clipboard only after you click it; your operating system and other clipboard-reading software may retain it. “Disable and clear settings” removes the extension's saved preferences and enablement choice. Uninstalling also removes local extension storage. Normal browser history and data held by visited websites must be managed separately.

Limited use

The extension uses the data it handles solely to provide its stated profile-linking function. It does not sell user data, use it for advertising or credit decisions, or disclose it to the developer. Its handling of user data adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Contact and changes

Contact the publisher using the developer contact email or support link displayed on this extension's Chrome Web Store listing. If you send a support request, include only the information needed to describe the problem; do not send passwords or authentication tokens. This policy will be updated when functionality or data practices change, and new uses will be disclosed before they take effect.
